You realize that the same tarot card comes up time after time. You have shuffled and shuffled. Asked different questions. Possibly even used the cards for different people. And yet, once again a very particular card demands to be seen. My friend, you have a stalker!!!
A stalker tarot card, that is.
This phenomenon is known in tarot communities when a particular card keeps appearing no matter how many times, or how thorough, the cards are shuffled. The card that demands to be seen.
It tends to hold great significance to be reflected on.
Assuming that I happened to pull the Temperance card for a daily draw. Based on my intention for the reading, I may view that as a calm day, or possibly that moderation is key. Now, the next day, Temperance appears again. Perhaps I do a reading for a client, or a friend, and Temperance, once again, makes an appearance. This would alert me that there is an important message I should pay attention to. I then, can reflect on what I know of this card in order to gain understanding of what insights or guidance are being brought to my attention. Is balance lacking in areas of my life that I need to assess? Or does it go even deeper than that? Has there been any major changes that require healing?
A common misconception about tarot is that it is evil. In reality, as with most other things, the tool is a reflection of the practitioner. I find that the cards always highlight what is for our highest good. In that, when a stalker shows up, It brings opportunity for reflection, growth, healing and peace. An important message to take note of and take action based on our own good judgment.
